Discover the 'Stinker' and the 'Blinker', the Schipdonkkanaal with Leiewater and the Leopoldskanaal which provides drainage from the polders of the Meetjesland. You bump into 'De Siphon' in Damme, the famous restaurant where the Brugse Vaart, the Schipdonk Canal and the Leopold Canal cross. Ride along two parallel canals on the 'cycling highway' between Ghent and Heist. You'll discover the heart of Damme and Maldegem. You'll come across a little spot for lovers at the 'island' Strobrugge in Maldegem on which there is still a piece of authentic Lieve. Cycle through the border village of Middelburg but also through Donk and Moerkerke.
