I biked my ride to Borlo today (08/03/2025). I made some adjustments here and there due to road works or water damage. This ride goes over low traffic roads, the course is gently rolling. Just before the center of Sint-Truiden, you need to take into account slow cyclists and pedestrians. There is also a detour provided along a dirt but passable path. Cycling through Sint-Truiden follows a quiet road. At the brewery of Kerkom (closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), I stop to eat a pancake (only from 2 p.m.); highly recommended. At "Het Pachthof" in Borlo, you should definitely stop for a photo. The road from Attenrode to Kiezegem is also closed, but I did not encounter any problems there. Otherwise, you need to take a detour via Meensel Kiezegem (just follow the Eddy Merckx route).
