We have chosen to walk from the stop 'Overpelt' to the station of 'Lommel'. This turned out to be the best choice given the course of the walk. In the beginning of the tour we follow paved roads for about 4 km to the 'Pijnven Rijksbos'. This forest is largely not accessible to the public. The walk leads us over the 'Paardshaardoornberg' through the 'Slijkven' to the 'Kiefhoekstraat' which we take a cursory look at to continue through the 'Pijnvenbos' to the 'Kattenbos'. Once through the 'Kattenbos' we pass the beautiful 'Leyssensmolen' and from there we continue via unpaved roads to the station of 'Lommel'.
