A fleet of fully electric shuttles operates for free in the city center of Namur!
A rarity in Belgium and unique in Wallonia, the fleet of "city center shuttles" will be fully electric.
Such a large fleet with this frequency in the city center is a first in Belgium!

There are no fewer than 4 shuttles available to carry out the rides.
Three shuttles will operate from Monday to Friday to ensure a frequency of 15 minutes at each stop.

On Saturday, all four shuttles will be in operation to increase the frequency and allow a stop every 10 minutes.
Finally, the frequency on Sunday will be reduced to 30 minutes. The shuttles run every day from 9 am to 7 pm, except on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.

To ensure this completely free service, the city of Namur has reserved an annual budget of €650,000 from its own funds.
The mentioned contract has been awarded to the family-owned company Peeters from Hannut for a duration of 10 years.

The shuttles are 5.85 meters long, 2.05 meters wide, and 2.8 meters high,
allowing for tranquility in the city center and easy access to future pedestrian areas.
With a range of 210 km and a full charge time of 4 hours,
they can perform all their daily trips (80 km) without recharging.

The shuttles are also equipped with an acoustic signal to warn pedestrians in case of danger.
