The landscape walk of Alden Biesen, on the eastern slope of the Demer Valley, takes you past the high-stem orchards of the Alden Biesen estate, vast fields on the plateaus, river valleys with wet micro-nature, and stunning panoramas. In the middle of the area, the Alden Biesen Commandery stands proudly. This monumental castle site left a significant mark on the environment and the history of the region.
