Step into the world of nature with this relaxing walking route through the Scheldevallei National Park. You start at junction 24 and leave the daily hustle and bustle behind. Along the Binnendijkstraat, you are greeted by a row of medlar trees embracing the meadows, a green oasis that marks the transition between land and water. A bit further on, the Old Scheldt winds its way, a river that not only shapes the landscape but also provides a home to rich fauna and flora. The 5.5-kilometer route takes you through a patchwork of nature, where you hear the soothing sound of water and the singing of birds around you. Perfect for nature lovers who want to enjoy the serene beauty of the Scheldevallei, without urban distractions.
