Religion, local industry and trade, the spirit of merchants and the Flemish struggle for emancipation are themes that determine the heritage in the streets of Roeselare. The somewhat messy urbanism of Roeselare nevertheless has a charm that often makes a visit to the industrious provincial town surprising. The walk starts and ends at the Grote Markt.
