Manderfeld-Herresbach

Beautiful, varied walk through field and forest with panoramic views, largely along or near the banks of the Frankenbach.
Depart from the quiet village of Manderfeld, where you can park your car at the school or cemetery. The first part of the walk goes through the GR56 (red and white rectangles) but it takes some time before you meet the first markings. Once you arrive in Herresbach, you leave the GR56 road which continues towards Schönberg.
Mainly on paved or unpaved paths, little asphalt. Good shoes are essential, especially in wet weather.
After the walk there is dinner in Manderfeld. If you prefer to do this halfway, you can park your car in Herresbach and start the walk from there. Near the villages you visit, there are a few benches, but usually not in such comfortable places
