Ecological path in Houffalize

Along the trail are boards with explanations and testimonials from the past.

The route starts at the church of Houffalize and goes along the Ourthe to l'hermitage. We pass the remains of the old mill 'Moulin Lemaire'. At that time there were many tanneries in Houffalize. We now follow the Ravel for about 1 km, rising slightly in the valley of the Rau de Cowan. We make a 180 degree turn and start the climb to Les Blancs Bois up to the bivouac place with covered BBQ.

We continue on the ecological path to start the descent via Entre deux Roches . We arrive at the Ourthe , but it continues to meanders. We cut off this meander via a gentle climb and return to Houffalize on the main road.
