AzureDuring this bike tour you will get acquainted with the green surroundings in and around Waregem. The Oude Spoorwegberm and the nature reserve de Zavelputten in Beveren-Leie are definitely worth a visit! The railway has not been in use since 1985 and is a natural spot of one and a half kilometers on the border of Zulte and Waregem. The lake in the Sablon pits originated from former sand extraction. The well was fed by soil and rainwater and thus became an interesting pond biotope.
