Through the woods in Michamps

Go to the church or actually to the Chapelle SaintHubert in Michamps (V). With the chapel on your right and a farm on your left, you start in the rue des Récollets, as you see a little further. At the Y-junction, turn right and follow the red window of the Promenade du Chemin des Boeufs towards the wind turbines until the first intersection. Here you turn left and follow the Pilgrims' Way to the next crossroads. There you turn right and you can follow the green window of the Pilgrims' Way Promenade for a long time. You cross the old Bastogne-Gouvy railway (now RAVeL cycle path) and on the other side at the junction take the country road with the green window diagonally on the left. Walk through the forest and don't worry about side roads. Halfway there is a clearing with meadows and curious cows. From the forest you walk a bit on a hollow road and you get a beautiful view of Foy. The gravel road turns to asphalt and you walk under a power line. Ignore a street on the right and pass the Foy agglomeration sign, you walk between the loose buildings. Leave a road on the left and also ignore the street on the right, which goes to the fire and the Sainte-Barbe chapel. Foy, like Michamps, has no church, but a large chapel with the appearance of a church. The population was 196 as of 2010. At the Y-junction, keep left and continue towards Bizory (on a square with a basket ring). This wide paved road is not the most pleasant part of the walk. You cross the Bois des Corbeaux and the Bois Jacques and pass the Monument of the 101st Airborne Division 1. Just after there, you cross the old Bastogne-Gouvy railway again and at the crossroads 100 m further you turn left. You always follow the green window and step over the Pilgrims' Way again and head towards the forest. On the right is the Bois de la Paix. When the forest stops for a while, you get beautiful views on the right and pass a sign with the Pilgrims' Paths – 540 m. Just after this sign, turn right (green window straight). You now walk on a narrow paved road, along the edge of the forest and a meadow, with a beautiful panorama. At the end of the road you are in Oubourcy. If you choose shortening (10.7 km), turn left here until you reach the first intersection. The whole tour (17 km) turns right. At first on a narrow paved road, later a gravel road. It continues gently rolling through the open landscape with beautiful views. At the first intersection, the promenade turns left, but it is worth walking straight. 300 m further, you can turn right in front of the windmill 2, which is exactly out of a western, and walk another 300 m further into the Bois de la Paix 3. More information about this forest of peace can be found on site. Then return to the intersection and turn right. You can continue to enjoy beautiful views and turn left at the first crossroads. Continue straight until you come across a hexagonal panel with Les Hauts de Arloncourt 4 lit. Straight he goes to Arloncourt. You turn left here and follow the red window again, towards Oubourcy, on a gravel road with a strip of grass in the middle. The gravel road turns into asphalt and in the center of Oubourcy you turn left and immediately right. You arrive at the intersection where the shortening connects. Turn right, for shortening at this intersection straight. On the right is St. Peter's Chapel, totally destroyed during the Second World War, but rebuilt in 1959. Oubourcy also has no church and had 25 (!) inhabitants at the beginning of 2010. On the Bourcy-Arloncourt road take the path of the church on the left and follow this path with diamond red sign to the end. Turn right until you reach Saint-Hubert Chapel.
