The IJzerbroeken form the boundary between the polders and the sand-clay region located further inland. This water-rich landscape is a beautiful starting point for exploring the Westhoek. You start in the charming village of Pollinkhove, a district of Lo-Reninge. The Lovaart takes you to the lock complex of Fintele. Here, you continue along the shipping route of the IJzer. Along the centuries-old dike of Veurne-Ambacht and the extensive meadow landscape of Kievitshoek, you walk towards the Groote Beverdijkvaart. The Hullebrugweg refers to an arch bridge over the Lovaart.
