MTB Malmedy 2 blue + Glorieuxlus

This MTB route begins at Sport et Nature, Place du Parc 21 in 4960 Malmedy. It is an existing "blue" MTB route that has been supplemented with the “Glorieuxlus”. You reach this loop after an ascent towards Xhoffraix and then right onto the asphalt road. In 1998, this Glorieux route was developed by Remo M. Delphine and Dirk V. at the suggestion of Alex L. and refined every year thereafter. Over 3500 students, under the guidance of numerous teachers from the Glorieux campus, have completed this mountain biking tour in all kinds of conditions, sometimes even hectic ones. It is a very varied course, where you can enjoy getting to know the Hoge Venen in a different way against a beautiful backdrop. Several times you will ride through the water, adding to the adventure. The shelter (Chocolatebar) is ideal for providing non-riding family or group members along the route with a cool or warm drink depending on the weather. The indicated chalets (Moûpa, Fagnard, Trois Hêtres, etc.) are ideal family chalets of the Lodomez family, from where enjoyable hiking and MTB tours can be undertaken. Once you ride through the water one last time and make the ascent to Xhoffraix again for the second time, you will ride back onto the blue route towards Malmedy after a few turns.
