The route starts in Loksbergen at the church and runs clockwise.
Typical for the Hageland are the gentle hills with, among other things, fruit orchards and vineyards, but also a lot of building land. The climbs over the hills have altitude differences of 20 to 60 meters and are often tricky (almost always the gradient is over 10%). The roads in this area are a mix of narrow, winding paths and wide concrete roads with narrow bike lanes next to them (unfortunately more than I would like, but there is no other way in this area). Fortunately, most concrete roads on this route are not heavily trafficked, so it is even safer not to ride on the narrow bike lane. Many climbs are so-called hollow ways, paths that are deeply set into a hill. In addition, there are also various cobbled streets in this area. This route includes a cobbled climb (from Kerkstraat in Molenbeek) and a flat cobbled section (from Puttestraat at Kraasbeek).

Besides Kerkstraat, you will climb Ransberg, Meienberg, Wijndries, Bonnekensstraat, Alsberg, Solleweg, Houwaartse Berg, Kraaikant, Hellegat, Kasteeldreef, Chartreuzenberg (Meesberg), Moedermolen (via the southern side, better known as the Stone Wall), Eikelberg, Gelrodeweg, Schoonhovendreef, Biezenhuiskes, Doktorenberg, Hermansheuvel (better known as Doornhof), Wolvenstraat, and Molenberg.
