The "Mur-Mur".

This route of about a hundred km allows cyclists to tackle two famous climbs: the Mur des Montys in Lustin and the renowned Mur de Huy, the final climb of the Flèche Wallonne. Starting from Profondeville, the Mur des Montys (with a gradient of 22%) confronts the cyclist after just 4 km. It is possible to bypass it by climbing via the Rue des Fonds. This detour adds 2.5 km to the route but allows for a gentler start. Upon reaching the top, one rides through hills and valleys to Andenne before following the Meuse along the left bank to Huy. After passing through the often busy town, the Mur de Huy rises before the cyclist like a specter (with a gradient of nearly 20%). This climb can also be bypassed: you just need to continue in the valley of Hoyoux to reach Vyle and Tharoul (see map). The return journey is leisurely and allows for a discovery of the hamlet of Jassogne and a ride through the village of Crupet, where one can admire its donjon.
