This route from Aalst in a nutshell

1. Starting points

   You can start at two places:

   • Sports Center Denderdal in Erembodegem (Kortestraat 14, Aalst)
   • Sports Center Faluintjes in Moorsel (Beugemstraat 24, Aalst)
2. Parking

   You can park your car for free at both sports centers.

3. Facilities

   Restrooms can be found in the sports centers, of course. If you want to take a shower after your bike ride, it's best to call the sports department of the city of Aalst first: 053 72 38 15.

   Food and drink: From Erembodegem, you can quickly bike to the center of the carnival city. It's obvious that there are plenty of dining options.

4. Highlights

   Nature: Explore the many green areas on the right bank of the Dender. You can relax completely between the babbling brooks of the Gerstjens. The Kravaalbos treats you to fascinating and diverse nature in a rolling landscape.

   Sporty: Two-thirds of the route goes over unpaved roads. After just two kilometers, you'll already encounter a challenging climb, and the rest of the route rolls pleasantly up and down. Be sure to try out the Bikepark behind the sports hall in Erembodegem.
   Extras: Along the way, you'll discover the Dender region, meet the onion mascot of Eendracht Aalst, and pass near the old abbey of Affligem.

   This route combines the blue, green, and red loops of the mountain bike route of Aalst, which has just received new signage. It offers a varied and challenging gravel or mountain bike experience.
