September 2023: attention - inconvenience: From September 15 to November 1, 2023, a contractor will be cutting down Canadian poplars in various places in the Vinderhoutse forests. The mature poplars pose a danger to recreational users and the high-voltage line in many areas. The logging activities will take place along the Langendam, the Meirebeek, and under the Fluxys air line. During the work, the work zone will be completely closed to all visitors for safety reasons. You can use the designated alternative routes and entrances. We thank you in advance for your understanding! In the autumn of 2024, work will begin on the recreational development of the Vinderhoutse Bossen.

The orange, brown, and yellow hiking route will therefore be diverted via Heiebreestraat.
