The walk of 13 kilometers takes place in and around Linkhout (Lummen) and Schulen (Herk-de-Stad). We will visit the area of the Schulensbroek.

It is a flat walk with many water features, as we are situated between the rivers Demer and Herk. But also the Schulens Meer will be prominently present during the walk.
Along the way, we will pause at local eateries. There we will provide two ‘sanitary stops’. You can possibly enjoy something from the (small) menu on-site.
The first ‘eaterie stop’ will take place between 5 and 6 kilometers, and the second between 9 and 10 kilometers.
During the first stop, the small menu is limited to Brussels waffles, ice cream, pancakes, and soup. It is advisable to bring a packed lunch to have just before.
There are regularly benches along the way with a nice view over the lake. You can then enjoy your packed lunch there.

The starting point is the parking lot of the Recreational Domain Schulens Meer. At ‘t Vloot, located at Demerstraat 60 in Linkhout (3560 Lummen).
