ZO90 Leie Zwevegem Kluis Aubert
Departing from Menen (or the surrounding area), we seek out the Leie, heading towards Kortrijk and driving approximately 23 km along the Leie and the Kortrijk Bossuit Canal. A calm, flat approach then. In Zwevegem, we take a shortcut via Heestert and Avelgem towards Ruien, where we cross the Schelde. We take an alternative, steep ascent of the Kluisberg (via the fazantendreef) and descend the Walloon side towards Amougies, Celles, Molenbaix, Goudiniere passing through rural villages, with beautiful farms... After the ascent of Mont St Aubert via 'Col de croix Jubaru', we descend the - steep - side towards Kain, where we seek out the car-free roads along the Schelde. In Pecq we leave the Schelde and head towards St Leger where we cross the Spierekanaal, towards Dottignies. From here, there are still a few short, challenging climbs towards Leie/Menen
