Art walks in Grote-Rotselaar - 2020
Welcome to one of the five summer art walks in Grote-Rotselaar. These art walks were created due to the
corona measures. Because of the invasion of the Wuhan virus, various classical art routes and exhibitions were cancelled.
Hence the initiative to combine the studios of several artists in Grote-Rotselaar with the
Hageland nature and the coziness of our beautiful villages.
More than fifty artists are participating in this initiative at about forty locations. When the Arts Platform
Grote-Rotselaar launched this initiative, it soon became clear that a single large bike route would not be sufficient to connect all participants.
Ultimately, we settled on four walks and one bike ride. The walks can be taken
and cycled from May 30 to September 30.
The aim of these art walks is to introduce you to the region and the artists that reside here. It is evident
that the artists cannot guide you through their studios during these times of corona. Therefore, each
participating artist places something behind the window or in their front yard. It is just a glimpse of their work
that you will see. We sincerely hope you enjoy it.
