Routing: Walking - junctions

De Panne, Provincial Visitor Center "Duinpanne". Starting point 18 at the corner of the tennis courts walking in the Calmeynbos where we can see the effects of storm Odette.

At junction 29 there is the option to walk an additional 3 km in the beautiful Houtsaegerduinen, for this go straight to junction 30 and from there the big loop back to the entrance gate and now return to junction 29 to then walk towards 28, the Kerkepannebos which is completely overgrown with ivy.

After the section of Noorderduinen we walk between the coastal villas of Sint-Idesbald which apparently each have a name. Artists came here for inspiration, the most famous being Brussels-born Paul Delvaux.

At the height of the statue The Three Wise Noses we reach the dike and follow the beach to the Leopold I monument.

The yellow tiled Hoge Duinenlaan leads us to the Kykhill, from this dune top a view over the seaside resort extending into France.

Finally, a last piece of Calmeynbos in, with occasionally creepy tree stumps, back to our starting point.
