Three waterways - the Albert Canal, the Kempen Canal Schoten-Turnhout-Dessel and the Antitank Canal - create a blue framework around the Voorkempen, so to speak. Bicycle paths on the banks of a river or waterway guarantee a quiet and safe ride. The Waterways Route runs along 17 km of paved car-free towpath and 11 km of semi-paved towpath. The route runs via the nodes.
