Zandhoven summer flower walk shorter version 2

This route is active during the summer months of 2021. Residents of the districts Zandhoven, Pulderbos, Pulle, Viersel, and Massenhoven have sown flowers in the spring that bloom all summer long and provide food for bees, butterflies, and insects. Zandhoven Naturally has mapped out several walking routes along the flowers and a number of interesting sustainable initiatives.
This loop walk takes you past vegetable gardens, wild front gardens, inspiration gardens and the following highlight:
Rector de Ramstraat
Look for the house with the mailbox as shown in the photo. Here, a neighbor sowed flowers at the roadside!

The vegetable garden of Gust and Jef Peeters
What a beautiful vegetable garden is here! It is the pride of father Gust. Gust is now 85 and is assisted by his son Jef. Very important if you want to start your own vegetable garden is to make the soil as healthy as possible and take care of the ground.
