From Hohsaas to to Saas-Almagell panoramaroute

This route starts in Saas-Grund where the ski-lifts take you to Hohsaas where the hike will start. A high start on 3100m above sea-level, close to the Weismies (4023m) with amazing panorama view on the mountain. After a small tour at Hohsaas, the route brings you along the Weismieshütte to Kreuzboden where you'll hike along the high route to the Almagelleralp. Along the route are some amazing views over the Saastal. From The Almagelleralp you'll head back to the village Saas-Almagell.

When you'll see the statistics of the route, you'll think it's quiet easy but it's the very long way down that makes it hard. The total ascent in meters is 308m but the ascent is 1765m.

At Hohsaas you can see snow-fields over the path that you'll have to cross, some sections on the way to Weismieshütte are very rocky so steadiness is required. All together it's a T3, Challenging hiking.
