The Marmot Trail is a wonderful experience for children and adults alike. Wooden sculptures and information panels depict the life cycles of these rodents in six languages. There are numerous points on Sunnegga Paradise where visitors can observe marmots at work. The path crosses sunny burrows dug out by the marmots. Along the entire length of the trail it is possible to observe families of marmots, used to humans and not at all timid. The marmots have grown so accustomed to people that they even come to eat grass out of children’s hands. Please do not feed them sweets!
