The Venekotensee is a lake in the valley of the Swalm in Germany and is located three kilometers from the border with the Netherlands, near Roermond. The lake belongs to the municipality of Nederkruchten and is located in the Grenspark Maas-Swalm-Nette nature reserve. It was created by gravel extraction and is three meters deep. The lake is about 900 meters long and the widest point measures about 150 meters.
