Rühn

Rühn is a municipality in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is administered by the Bützow-Land office based in the city of Bützow.
The municipality of Rühn is located between the Warnow River and Lake Rühner, directly adjacent to the southwestern part of the city of Bützow. Other lakes in the municipality include Lake Lange, Lake Trien and the Sülzpfuhl, which is surrounded by the local buildings of Rühn. The highest elevations are found in the northwest, with Töpferberg and Sievertsberg in the forest area of Rühner Holz. This area contains numerous smaller standing waters. The terrain descends to the Warnow, which flows at the southern municipal boundary, only a few meters above sea level.
