Gerdau is a municipality in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is part of the Samtgemeinde Suderburg in the district of Uelzen. It has 1,413 inhabitants.
The village of Gerdau is located on the river of the same name. The Bundesstraße 71 runs through the village to the neighbouring village of Bohlsen, 3 km to the east, and further east to the nearest town, Uelzen.
