The Mariengymnasium Arnsberg is a state-approved grammar school in Arnsberg, Germany.
The school was founded in 1889 by the Poor School Sisters of Our Lady as a higher Catholic school for girls. In addition to the Gymnasium Laurentianum, the first secondary school in the city for girls was opened. For this purpose, the sisters acquired a building built between 1818 and 1822 in the classicist quarter of the city of Arnsberg. In 1898, the sisters had two more building wings and a neo-Gothic chapel built at the rear towards the Ruhr. This contains a remarkable Madonna and Child on a crescent moon. Further buildings were built around 1903. The complex of the monument also includes a garden pavilion built in the classicist period.
