The organs of St. Johannis include the large historical main organ located on the west gallery and the choir organ in the five-aisled Gothic hall church of St. Johannis in Lüneburg. The large instrument has maintained its current form essentially since 1553 due to Baroque expansions and now features three manuals and 51 stops. In addition, there is a two-manual choir organ made by the firm Kuhn from 2010 with 23 stops in the church.
As early as 1374, the playing of the organ at St. Johannis is reported. A choir organ was commissioned in 1479. There are no records of a main organ.
