St. Martin's Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in the city of Emmerich on the Dutch border.
The first church in Emmerich, probably founded by St. Willibrord, was connected to the oldest chapter in Gelderland, the first mention of which dates back to 914. The chapter consisted of fourteen canonies, including the provost, who was also archdeacon of the diocese of Utrecht and had rights in the Utrecht bishop's election. The chapter had all rights to the parish church.
