De Sint Martinuskerk is een rooms-katholieke parochiekerk in de aan de Nederlandse grens gelegen stad Emmerik.
De eerste Emmerikse kerk, waarschijnlijk gesticht door St. Willibrord, was verbonden aan het oudste Gelderse kapittel waarvan de eerste vermelding uit 914 is. Het kapittel bestond uit veertien kanonikaten inclusief de proost die tevens aartsdiaken van het bisdom Utrecht was en rechten had in de Utrechtse bisschopsverkiezing. Het kapittel had alle rechten op de parochiekerk.
