Breitenrode is a village and a former municipality in the Börde district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
Breitenrode is a street village about one kilometre long with around 450 inhabitants. It is located on the edge of the nature park and within the Drömling fenland area. The village is mainly surrounded by pastures and lies about one kilometre north of Oebisfelde north of the B 188. The western village of Grafhorst in Lower Saxony is less than a kilometre from the western end of Breitenrode. Two kilometres east of Breitenrode lies the Oebisfelde-Weferlingen district of Wassensdorf.
