Adenauerplatz is a central square and transport hub in the city of Bielefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the Middle Ages, near the narrowest point of the Bielefeld Pass, stood the Nebelstor, which was part of the city fortifications. In the period of reconstruction after the Second World War, the model of a car-friendly city was followed in this area and the focus was on planning that did justice to car traffic in particular. Due to its geographical location and the corresponding planning, Adenauerplatz has developed into a transport hub in Bielefeld. The square is named after the former German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer. Today, it is mainly law firms and auditors who have their headquarters here.
