The Annakapelle in Gymnich, a district of Erftstadt, is a small brick chapel located outside the town on Kohlstraße and is dedicated to the Mother of Mary, Saint Anna. The current building was constructed in 1880 and is protected as a historical monument. However, it traces back to a structure that likely stood on this site as early as the 16th century. In the local vernacular, the chapel is often simply referred to as the "Hellije Hüsje." Children were told that the little children come from this chapel.
