Only the forecourt of Blessem Castle has been preserved today. A bridge leads over the drained moat to the arched entrance. The gatehouse is integrated into the elongated two-story, partially plastered brick building of the forecourt. The gatehouse section and the extension are equipped on the outside with two stories of tall rectangular sash windows.
