Grauhain

The Grauhain near Walpersdorf in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Siegen-Wittgenstein is a 638.4 m (2,091 ft) high elevation of the Ederkopf-Lahnkopf ridge in the Rothaar Mountains.

The Grauhain is located south of both the Rothaar Mountains and the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park on the Ederkopf-Lahnkopf ridge. The summit of this elevation, belonging to the localities of Walpersdorf and Nenkersdorf, two districts of Netphen, is located about 2.7 km (1.7 miles) east-northeast of Walpersdorf and 1.4 km (0.87 miles) north of the Nenkersdorf hamlet of Lahnhof, as well as 1.7 km (1.1 miles) south-southwest of Großenbach and 2.3 km (1.4 miles) west-southwest of the Volkholzer hamlet of Welschengeheu, both of which belong to Bad Laasphe. The north-northeast neighbor of Grauhain is the Jägerhain located beyond the Ilmquelle, and to the south is the Lahnkopf with the Lahnquelle.
