The Protestant Church of St. Peter is a listed church building in Ramsbeck, a district of Bestwig in the Hochsauerland district. It is one of the oldest Protestant churches in the Sauerland.
Among the immigrants in the Catholic Sauerland in the 19th century were Protestant miners from Saxony and the Harz Mountains. One of the first Protestant congregations in what was then the Sauerland of Cologne was established here. Pastoral focus was initially on the newly created villages of Neu-Andreasberg and Henrichsdorf, which later moved to Ramsbeck. In 1855, August Friedrich Georg Disselhoff, the poet of the song Nun ade du mein lieb Heimatland, officiated here as an assistant preacher.
