Merode Castle is considered the most important architectural monument in the community of Langerwehe and a member of the community of Indeland. In and around the water castle, there is over 800 years of history. The historical building and the beautiful castle park regularly host events in the field of art and culture. For instance, the annual spring promenade and the Christmas market attract thousands of visitors who want to enjoy a romantic atmosphere and an interesting supporting program.
