Pritzerbe [pʁɨˈtsɛʁbə] is a district of the town of Havelsee in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in the state of Brandenburg and is part of the Beetzsee office. In 2002, Pritzerbe voluntarily merged with the municipalities of Fohrde, Briest, and Hohenferchesar to form the town of Havelsee, to which the village of Marzahne joined in 2008. Pritzerbe is located between the northern shore of Pritzerber Lake and the Havel river. The federal highway 102 and the state road 98 run through the town.
Already in prehistoric times, the area of Pritzerbe was inhabited by people. Archaeological finds have proven that the area was settled at least since the middle Stone Age. Numerous artifacts made of bone and antler have been excavated in the area of Pritzerber Lake, which can be dated to the Upper Paleolithic or Mesolithic period. For example, points, bone fishhooks, and a striking device were found. From the later Stone Age, there are also individual finds from the Pritzerber area.
