Phöben is a district of the city of Werder. Until its incorporation into the city of Werder on 31 December 2001, Phöben was an independent municipality.
Phöben is located in the northwestern part of the urban area of Werder, on the 84 m high northern slope of the Wachtelberg, directly on the Havel. It borders Schmergow and Töplitz to the north, Töplitz to the east, Kemnitz to the south and Krielow and Schmergow to the west. The L 90 runs through the village and leads south to the eastern part of the municipality of Kemnitz in Werder. To the north, the next village is Schmergow. The Phöben motorway exit of the A10, which runs west of Berlin, is located south of the village in the district of Kemnitz.
