Phöben ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Werder . Bis zur Eingemeindung in die Stadt Werder am 31. Dezember 2001 war Phöben eine selbständige Gemeinde.
Phöben liegt im nordwestlichen Teil des Stadtgebietes von Werder am Nordhang des 84 m hohen Wachtelberges unmittelbar an der Havel. Es grenzt im Norden an Schmergow und an Töplitz ), im Osten an Töplitz, im Süden an Kemnitz, um im Westen an Krielow und Schmergow . Durch den Ort hindurch verläuft die L 90, die im Süden über den östlichen Teil der Gemarkung von Kemnitz nach Werder führt. Im Norden ist der nächste Ort Schmergow. Die Autobahnabfahrt Phöben der westlich von Berlin verlaufenden A 10 liegt südlich des Ortes auf der Gemarkung von Kemnitz.
