The Kronenplatz is a square in the eastern part of downtown Karlsruhe. It was created as part of the area redevelopment of Dörfle and was named in 1974. The square is bordered by Kronenstraße, Kaiserstraße, and Fritz-Erler-Straße. It consists of two parts at different height levels, featuring a fountain and a water feature. A market with varying offerings takes place daily along the northern edge of the square, while the southern part has a covered pétanque court.
