Klein Bademeusel

Klein Bademeusel is a village and former municipality in the district of Spree-Neisse, Brandenburg, Germany. The village belongs to the official settlement area of the Sorbs/Wends. Until its incorporation into Groß Bademeusel in July 1977, Klein Bademeusel was an independent municipality.

Klein Bademeusel is located in Lower Lusatia, directly on the border with Poland and 30 kilometers southeast of Cottbus as the crow flies. Klein Bademeusel is the southernmost district of Forst, the central town is ten kilometres northwest of the village as the crow flies. The municipality is bordered to the north by Groß Bademeusel, to the east by the Polish community of Brody, to the southeast by Trzebiel and the village of Olszyna, to the south by Jerischke with Bahren, to the southwest by Preschen and Raden and to the west again by Groß Bademeusel. To the east of Klein Bademeusel, the Lusatian Neisse forms the border with Poland. In addition to the main village, the Klein Bademeusel district also includes the residential area of Försterei Bademeusel.
