Osterwick Village Park

With the declared aim of improving the appearance of Osterwick, in 2010 engaged citizens first gathered in the town hall of Osterwick under the working title "Osterwick Mitte" to collect ideas and, if possible, implement them. Since then, many small and large proposals have not only been compiled but also put into action.

However, one ongoing topic has clearly emerged. The village park of Osterwick has now been awakened from its Sleeping Beauty slumber and beautified: weeds have been removed, flowers planted, a barefoot path created, and paths laid out. New seating areas have been built and a wind harp installed. A major goal has always motivated the helpers: in the long term, the village park of Osterwick is to be upgraded to a generational park.
