Neuhof

Neuhof is a village in the Görlitz district in Saxony. The place belongs to the core area of the city of Niesky and does not have district status. Until 1929, Neuhof was an independent municipality.

Neuhof is located in Upper Lusatia, directly northwest of the city of Niesky, with which the village forms a contiguous settlement area. The boundary between Neuhof and Niesky is defined by the railway line Węgliniec–Roßlau. Other neighboring towns are Sandschenke and Trebus to the north, Spreehammer and Uhsmannsdorf to the northeast, Horka to the east, Niesky to the south, as well as Moholz and Zeche to the west. The largest share of land in Neuhof is occupied by the Niesky-Nord industrial area. Not far from the village lies the federal road 115, which before the construction of the bypass ran directly through Neuhof.
