Jerchel is a district of the municipality of Milower Land in Havelland, Brandenburg. It lies directly on the northwestern state border with Saxony-Anhalt. Jerchel includes the localities of Ausbau Jerchel and Luisenhof.
On September 30, 1928, the estate district of Jerchel was merged with the rural municipality of Jerchel. On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Jerchel in the Jerichow II district was incorporated into the municipality of Nitzahn. Already on January 1, 1957, the municipality of Jerchel was newly formed in the Rathenow district by separation from Nitzahn. On October 26, 2003, Jerchel joined with other municipalities to form the municipality of Milower Land, thus becoming a district.
