Jerchel es un núcleo de la comunidad de Milower Land en Havelland, Brandeburgo. Se encuentra directamente en la frontera estatal que discurre al noroeste con Sajonia-Anhalt. A Jerchel pertenecen los asentamientos Ausbau Jerchel y Luisenhof.
El 30 de septiembre de 1928, el distrito agrícola de Jerchel se unió a la comunidad rural de Jerchel. El 1 de julio de 1950, la comunidad de Jerchel fue incorporada al municipio de Nitzahn en el distrito de Jerichow II. Ya el 1 de enero de 1957, la comunidad de Jerchel se volvió a constituir en el distrito de Rathenow al separarse de Nitzahn. El 26 de octubre de 2003, Jerchel se unió con otras comunidades para formar la comunidad de Milower Land y así se convirtió en un núcleo.
