Anreppen is a village in the municipality of Delbrück, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with a population of 1,487 . Anreppen also includes the new village of Lesterberg, which was created after the Second World War, and is larger than the actual village of Anreppen and is located two kilometers northeast of it.
In 1968, archaeological research on the Lippe south of the village uncovered the remains of a Roman army camp. The camp was 23 hectares in size, could accommodate six thousand soldiers and has been dated to around the year 5. There was probably a crossroads of two Roman roads on the spot, one of which was along the Lippe. In 2009, the site was equipped with information panels and a cycling route and a cycling course were laid along it. Some of the defensive walls of the camp have been reconstructed.
