The Wiesen am Max-Clemens-Kanal nature reserve is located in the town of Emsdetten in the district of Steinfurt in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The area, which consists of four sub-areas, extends west of the core town of Emsdetten. The L 583 state road runs along the northern edge of the area and the L 590 to the south. To the north is the 341.7 hectare Emsdetten Fens Nature Reserve and to the west is the 98.0 hectare Borghorster Venn Nature Reserve.
